I received an e-mail from a highschool chum of mine the other day letting me know she had launched her new website showcasing the jewelry she’s been making. Mind you, she does this in addition to her regular job. Trust me, this chick has the energy level to qualify as a real “do-it-all.” I’m not in the least bit jealous (says Melissa, downing every last ounce of cold coffee while rubbing away the eye boogers).
I had seen snippets of Tina’s jewelry before and was impressed right from the beginning. And I’m a harsh critic, really. I don’t normally like jewelry! It ranks right up there with shoes, in my opinion. I know, I know . . . I’m weird. But remember - I like weeds and dirt and am partial to garden clogs and straw hats.
I often remind my husband he got off easy when he tied the knot with me.
But every so often I come across a piece of jewelry that I just love, and such was the case when I perused the virtual pages of Bobeada . First of all, what a cool and catchy name! Bobeada! (I’m doing my best jazz hands) Can’t you just see me in this as I’m scrubbing the toilet and changing poo-poo diapers? Hey - a girl has a right to dream!
There’s nothing stopping you, my good readers, from clicking over there right this instant and supporting my lovely friend. You know you at least want to take a peek - just have your PayPal account at the ready. Or your “first-born child.” Tina says everything is negotiable.
*edited to add ~ that lovely necklace has since been added to my collection; it was an early anniversary gift from my husband!*
